From the Bonsai Village
of Kinashi...
The history of Kinashi Bonsai Village is long and rich.
It is said to have begun around two hundred years ago
with the cultivation and sale of wild pine trees.
Located six kilometers west of the heart of Takamatsu City,
which opens to the Seto Inland Sea,
the area around Kinashi Station is dotted with pine fields.
In recent years, it has gained
recognition as the "Holy Land of Bonsai,"
attracting many visitors from overseas.
